Rizzo triumphant, Mir injury revealed

MMA legend Pedro "The Rock" Rizzo had his first fight last night since losing to Roman Zentsov at PRIDE 31 via a devastating 25 second KO. His opponent was former UFC heavyweight contender Justin Eilers. The fight took place in Dallas, Texas for Guy Mezger's new Art of War promotion. Rizzo won a unanimous decision.

Frank Mir's business manager Dean Albrecht revealed to mmaweekly.com that Mir injured his shoulder while training for his fight with Antoni Hardonk. They aren't sure yet if he has a torn rotator cuff or a labrum injury. And of course there is no word yet on how long this will sideline Mir.
